Hannibal is the father of a lot of Winner dogs, Champions and Junior Champions. His puppies with different mothers and in different countries won a lot of Best of Breed titles, Speciality Winners in different classes. They are Clubwinners and 2 of them having Crufts Qualifications, too.

STORY OF HANNIBAL LECTER-A

This is the point where I can not let without words all those slanders, what some people spread to Hannibal. The biggest sadness for me in this question, the fact: these people forgot the most important thing. This is NOT about the prestige, but about the GREAT DANE!  This is about the breed, what we love, admire and work for...and not against it.

With his story I would like to clear all those gossips whats going around him.

Hannibal came to us as an adult dog, over his age of 3 years old in March of 2010. He born in Italy, in the kennel
"Il Giardino di Zeus", breed by Gisella and Giuseppe Rizza. His father is Bladerunner del Nord Ovest, his mother is Venus, from the line of Claudio Calvetti  (allevamento del sentiero di Horus)

In Italy he had been attacked by an other dane, his neck and ear damaged so the veterinary stitched it. Till today the trace of this incident you can see on his neck and in his right ear.

When he arrived, we made the official breeding confirmation to him.  The first images (headshot and the bodyshot) made on the first day he arrived.

In some weeks he became an incredible popular dog. Day by day I got emails from breeders who were interested in him or his puppies. Since this time he was always in the spotlight. Breeders visited him week by week.

His first litter born in Poland (july of 2010) in the Great Dane kennel "Arhus" by Alicja Mech.

After the two first litters of him we made his official x-rays in September of 2010 with the result below:
Hips: A/A    Elbows: 0/0     Dental: correct, complete    Spinal Cervical Cord: free of any malformation.

Anibal started his shows in october of 2010. Under the past time he had been showed 9 times in 4 different countries, under 9 different judges. Most of them could be able to perceive his amazing type,anatomy, gait and harmony.

Anibal never get any judgement, where the judge crossed out the description or teared up the judgement paper.

Anibal never had any plastical surgery at me. If someone follow the news on my site, have to know: he did not changed. Chaga, his brother also very similar in type to Anibal. This is simply the genetics as you can see on Anibal's puppies, who inherited his beautiful neck among the other points.

Otherhand those ones, who know me a little, have to know my disapprovals against any plastical surgery:

1., This is the biggest lie what a stud owner can make against the female owner. With changing the phenotype, the genotype will stay, just showing a fals image of the dog. But knowing the faults of a stud is very important to make the best decision in choosing the right stud to our females.

2., With all his faults Anibal is an extraordinary dog, and a brilliant reproductor. Most of his faults are caused by his very light colour and he do not give them to his progeny.

In the past year, while his puppies born and showed all over the continents, we followed the practise and made his other important health and breeding checkings, as:
 

-Regular semen quality and quantity controll
-Negative lepto and brucella test
-ISAG 2006 DNA test
and finally at his age of 5 years old:
-cardio test with the result: normal heart morphology. negativ echocardiographic result.

If over all these show results, health certifications and sucesses of his puppies someone can not see Hanibal's positives in breeding, there are chances, this is not Anibal's fault.

and one thing more:

Anibal do not need to certify anything... his offsprings do it for him with their types, the dozens of their show winnings and all those positive reflections, what we got from the breeders who have been used him.
I know this is very hard to understand for some, but Anibal is here. And he already wrote his name to the Great Dane History....
